Prohibited & Restricted Materials

Do not assume every waste stream can go into a standard roll-off container. Hazardous substances, certain liquids, regulated materials and other restricted waste may require separate handling.

If you are unsure about paint, chemicals, batteries, tires, appliances, electronics, fuels, medical waste, asbestos-containing materials or another unusual item, identify it before loading and ask what disposal route is appropriate.

Keep questionable materials separated from ordinary debris until they have been confirmed. Never hide restricted material underneath other waste.

Accepted materials can vary by container, disposal facility and project. Confirm the current rules before delivery rather than relying on a general internet list.
